"It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." ~Samuel Adams
Health Care bill
Despite the mass protests, the House committed violations against the Constitution and passed the health care bill. This bill is unconstitutional because it directly violates our rule of law:
•The right to contract
•The right to private property: not having wages confiscated to pay for federal programs
•The ninth amendment: individual liberty
•The tenth amendment: forcing States to enforce/obey a federal regulatory program
•The fourth amendment: gives White House authority to access all of your personal and financial information without a warrant at will (unreasonable search and seizure; right to privacy)
•The bill will incrementally force private insurance companies out of health care
•The bill will create rationing particularly among seniors
•This bill will be the largest shift of massive power to the Executive branch of government, eliminating the checks and balances and giving the Exec control into personal lives and businesses
•Article 6 demands Congress and Senate be bound by an Oath to not commit these acts
For a comprehensive summary of this bill by an attorney, please click here.
To demonstrate just how little regard they have for our Constitution, a reporter actually questioned Pelosi about the Constitutionality, here is the exchange:
CNSNews.com: "Madam Speaker, where specifically does the Constitution grant Congress the authority to enact an individual health insurance mandate?"
Pelosi: "Are you serious? Are you serious?" CNSNews.com: "Yes, yes I am."
Pelosi then shook her head before taking a question from another reporter. Her press spokesman, Nadeam Elshami, then told CNSNews.com that asking the speaker of the House where the Constitution authorized Congress to mandate that individual Americans buy health insurance was not a "serious question."
Obviously, the Constitution is not in effect in Washington D.C. any longer.
It is imperative that we unload on the Senate to stop this bill based on its Unconstitutional violations of our rule of law.
Please, call email and write your Senators and tell them it’s time to create laws that stay within their constitutional limitations. It’s time to respect the Constitution. Copy the bulletins above and send them in emails, or read them over the phone to the Senator’s offices. Tell others about these hidden violent attacks on the Constitution. Let them know that this next election season that all the special-interest money in the world will not save their jobs.
Tim Ryan redefines Freedom?
To view Tim Ryan’s ridiculous and treasonous speech, click here.
Or, go to YouTube and type “Tim Ryan redefines freedom” in the search bar
Tim Ryan has taken it upon himself to redefine Freedom in America. According to him, Freedom means “being healthy.” That’s interesting, I thought our Constitution and Declaration of Independence were framed around the concept of Freedom, described over and over as the right to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness, which translates to LIMITED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT POWER over inalienable rights.
FREEDOM IS THE OPPOSITE OF DEPENDENCE OF GOVERNMENT! FREEDOM IS THE OPPOSITE OF EXPANDED FEDERAL POWER! THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE!
UnConstitutional Legislation
The health care is not the only violation we have passed or proposed. If we do not reign these rogue criminals in, and confine them back within the limitations of the Constitution, we will have lost our freedom forever.
To name just a few:
•The Patriot Acts
•The Gun Control Act
•HR 2159, HR 2401, S1317: Violate the Second, Fourth, Fifth, Ninth and Tenth Amendments (view them in opencongress.org)
•Federal law enforcement, ATF, DEA, etc: Only 4 clearly defined Constitutional law enforcement duties given to federal government. This was upheld by Thomas Jefferson, in the Kentucky Resolutions, supported by James Madison, who maintained that a penal power could not be inferred from a power to regulate, and that the only penal powers were for treason, counterfeiting, piracy and felony on the high seas, and offenses against the law of nations.
So, when the federal government creates a federal regulatory program, like health care, that has punitive measures, like fines and jail time for non-compliance, they are operating clearly outside of the Constitution.
On a somewhat unrelated, but important note:
HR1207 update
As always, we must support Ron Paul’s Audit the Fed bill. Rep. Watts (paid off by the banks) gutted the bill in committee, and Ron Paul immediately introduced amendments putting the provisions right back in. Call Congress and pressure them to support the Ron Paul amendments to HR1207. The Federal Reserve must be audited, and then abolished!

My letter to Senator Thune, RNC
(Recently, I received an email link to a "survey" from Senator Thune and the Republican National Committee. It was horrible. The questions were written with bias to achieve the desired results, and no others. And they wonder why they are falling apart...)
Senator Thune,
I am writing to enlighten you about us, the American People.
I recently received your RNC "survey" via email. I am a conservative American. I am also a trained social researcher and I know a bogus and unethical research survey when I see one; I spent years learning how to construct legitimate, scientific surveys.
We are tired of you big government Republicans that do not represent us or respect our Constitution. You are soon going to find out how fed up we are. You can see this happening in the democratic process already as we are abandoning the candidates the RNC hand picks for us.
The RNC survey was the most unscientific, illegitimate instrument I have ever seen. Your questions about "supporting the Patriot Act so we can keep America safe" etc. are disgusting. Using biased, loaded and double-barreled questions is an example of just the type of underhanded tactics that we will no longer stand for.
We now know that moves like the Patriot Act were the most violent attacks our Constitution ever suffered. To circumvent the Fourth and Fifth and even First Amendments is inexcusable. How else do you explain that by 2006 the Patriot Act was used against non-terrorist Americans over 120,000 times? Do you have a smooth speech about that?
We know that we are entrenched in unconstitutional wars of aggression after being fed lies about terrorist connections and WMD's to gain our support. We know that we are going broke due to bad fiscal policy, rampant spending, and a private central bank that has no oversight.
We know that our representatives serve the special-interest money that pays for their campaigns, not us.
And now we know there is little difference between Republicans and Democrats when it comes to looking out for the American People and upholding the Constitution. You both rape and pillage.
We are tired of your big government schemes and Republican backing of banker bailouts, Constitutional abuses, amnesty, and other ills we now suffer. The American People are awake and will no longer fall for the bait and switch and other propaganda such as the bogus survey you sent me.
Its time to stand up for what is right. Its time to either put yourself TRULY in line with the Constitution, OR GET OUT!
Please make the right choice, which ever it may be, for the good of our country.
Very seriously,
Senator Thune,

SHUT UP AND PAY YOUR TAXES SLAVE! 100 years of abuse
Hillary Clinton, our Secretary of State, told Pakistan recently that their taxes are too low. "In the United States," she boldly stated, "we tax everything that moves and doesn't move."
People, we are taxed to death. These brazen bastards work us 6 months of the year for taxes alone. That is half of the fruits of our labor. What would the colonists have done if the King's messenger had arrived on our shore and stated, "Subjects of the colonies, the King of England hereby orders you to work 6 months out of the year to pay him. The King will graciously allow you to keep the fruits of your labor of the second 6 months only."
They would have corked the messenger in a bottle and let the tide carry him back to the King.
Are the fruits of our labor theirs to do with as they wish? Is 6 months of pay less labor slavery? Do we really need government to create bureaucracy upon bureaucracy to micro-manage our lives and force us to pay for it all?
The answer to all of these is a loud and resounding NO! For nearly 100 years the federal government has been abusing authority, leveling unConstitutional regulations upon us, and moving us toward slavery at gun point. I say 'gun point' because if you disagree with this system, no matter how unConstitutional, you will receive a very nasty visit from machine-gun-toting IRS agents kicking in your door to take you and everything you own away.
If you disagree with the phony war on drugs, maybe grow some harmless marijuana, a very vicious DEA will smash down your door with military force, scream at your entire family to hit the floor under the threat of machine gun fire, and drag you out. You should have known that drugs are limited to the deadly drugs pushed legally by Big Pharma!
If you disagree with the unConstitutional federal interpretation of the Second Amendment, the militarized BATF will descend upon you with violent precision and change your life forever.
If you are of the ilk of being just overall unhappy with the federal government, and choose to protest taxes, gun control, federal intrusion, or demand adherence to the Constitution, the the mothership of federal force, The Department of Homeland Security, will place you on a secret list of domestic terrorists.
Congress was supposed to, according to the Constitution, coin and regulate our money. Instead, they gave our money and our economy over to a group of private world bankers who now operate as the highest authority in the U.S.; even the federal government cannot audit or impose upon the Federal Reserve. It is a private, for-profit institution that robs us and taxes us through inflation, and never has to answer to us.
Shut Up and Be a Good Slave
Basically, you better just shut up, go to work, pay the King, and keep that single-shot shotgun quietly locked up in your closet. Are you getting the picture? The Constitution forbade government from imposing any direct unapportioned tax upon the People. The did it. It forbade them from infringing upon the "right of the People" to keep and bear arms. They did that too. The Constitution clearly defined only three enumerated law enforcement duties given to federal government--piracy on the high seas, counterfeiting, and treason--and left all other duties to the States or to the People, respectively. Then why do we have the DEA, ATF, IRS, FDA, EPA and now the all powerful DHS?
This is bigger than health care. This is bigger than Obama. It is time we settled this once and for all and demand complete adherence to the Constitution. We do not need candidates who will go to Washington and oppose Democrats and health care. We need people who will stand up for us and REPEAL LAWS.
IT'S TIME TO PUSH THE LEVIATHAN BACK INTO IT'S CAGE. In 1776 those powerful chains of bondage were given to us by the forefathers, and now it's time we used them again.

Do we need a War On Drugs? YES...ON BIG PHARMA!
I found my uncle dead today.
I recieved a frantic call from my mother telling me that my uncle would not respond to his phone or apartment door. She had peaked in the window and seen him laying on the floor. When I arrived, the maintenance man unlocked the door. As I tried to push the door open, it was blocked by his body and I knew I would find the worst when I got around to the other side.
Upon entering the room, I found my uncle slumped there on his apartment floor. He was lifeless, purple in color, and the room reeked of death. I had to go three floors down to the hallway where my partially disabled mother was waiting and praying that he would be ok. "Did you get in, is he ok now?" she asked. When I told her that he was gone, she collapsed on the floor screaming and kicking. It was a terrible time. Absolutely horrible.
My uncle was a bright and unique man. He was a deep-thinker, spiritual, and had a charm and charisma that was unmatched by anyone I knew. He was unusually strong, a highly skilled martial arts practitioner and was a fanatic about healthy living. Fifteen years ago he was hit by a crane hook while working at the steel mill. The blow fractured his neck vertebrae. He recieved three surgeries and finally had pins put in to keep his neck together. The doctors started him out on Soma, a muscle relaxant. I watched him descend into mild narcotics abuse through this drug.
About five years ago, they put him on oxycontin. That is when his life completely fell apart. Twice in that time I found him unconscious and turning blue. Once he had even aspirated food into his lungs upon vomiting while unconscious. Both times we had gotten to him in time to save him.
This time, we didn't.
Oxycontin has been implicated in more deaths that 9/11 and the Iraq War combined since the Purdue Pharma company began producing it in 1995. OxyContin was approved by the FDA, with Purdue Pharma claiming then and continuing to infer that it's addiction potential is low. However, in 2007, Purdue and three top executives of Purdue Pharma pled guilty in Virginia in relation to misleading the public about the addictive qualities and safety of OxyContin and paid fines totaling over $634 million. But no Purdue Pharma executive went to jail and the FDA has allowed OxyContin to remain on the market.(BanOxy)
OxyContin is an opoid which is made from poppy sources, like heroin. It has been the subject of increased public outcry and debate. The substantial attention that OxyContin has received is not for its medical effects, but for its addiction liability and abuse potential (Inciardi and Goode 2003). Priced at a substantially lower amount than heroin, OxyContin was then recognized as poor man’s heroin. The drug became popular not only with patients who were genuinely using it for analgesia, but also with people intending to abuse it. It became known as hillybilly heroin, Oxy, OC, or OxyCotton, and transcended from being a miracle drug used for chronic analgesia to becoming one of the most highly abused drugs. Being a schedule II drug, OxyContin posed a threat with regards to its addiction potential. OxyContin abusers took no time to realize that crushing and injecting or snorting the powdered drug gave a euphoria similar to that of heroin. Since then, cases of abuse or overdose-related deaths have been reportedly increasing.
OxyContin has caused addiction unprecedented in pharma history. It has caused a rash of drug store robberies, prescription fraud, and murder as addicts do anything to get the drug. Just 4 months ago the drug store at the end of my street was robbed. The man demanded OxyContin, not money.
Big Pharma are raking in BILLIONS OF DOLLARS for a product that destroys lives and kills people. The DEA has focused much of its efforts on stopping the illicit sale of the drug on the street. Countless arrests and raids have been made. This is our War on Drugs. WHAT THEY NEED TO DO IS TURN THEIR INVESTIGATION TO BIG PHARMA. They deal in drugs that destroy communities (google: Kentucky Oxycontin for a clue) and end lives prematurely.
Some time ago, I blogged about Pfizer losing in a suit in the deaths of Nigerian youths due to a flawed vaccine. I also blogged about Bayer intentionally distributing HIV infected injection medicine and getting away with it, with HELP FROM THE FDA.
All of this, and our government has destroyed people's lives in the phony War on Drugs, locking people up for life for having marijuana, which has never killed anyone I might add. Yet, Big Pharma companies can be found guilty of downplaying the deadliness of their poisons and distributing deadly contaminated medicines and NOT ONE PERSON GOES TO JAIL, THEY JUST GET RICHER.
My uncle's death today is just another event that drives home the realization that big government is supposed to stay out of our criminal system. The Constitution enumerates the only criminal jurisdiction the federal government has as, prosecuting felonies on the high seas, prosecuting countefieting of money, prosecute treason. THATS IT. The DEA, ATF, etc. are NOT EVEN CONSTITUTIONAL, let alone the fact that they don't even make anything better for us. Most of the time, they attack the little guys on the totem pole of the drug world. Especially when it comes to prescription drugs.
The War on Drugs is a lie that has destroyed people's lives and our own liberties as protected by the Bill of Rights. It has expanded government and created unConstitutional, militarized federal law enforcement that turns on its own people and not the source of the problems. The FDA is apparently corrupt, allowing a cover up of HIV infected drugs to be sold out of the country and working closely with Big Pharma and other mega-corporations (like Monsanto who has infiltrated the FDA; google: Monsanto FDA double-agents for a clue).
This is a travesty. Just another example of how the federal government has no business protecting us from anything inside of our national borders. The FDA continually approves poisons from Big Pharma and other sources (like the complacency causing carcinogen flouride that is in our water). The DEA works over time to bust the little guy that buys, sells or steals the prescription drugs. Yet, noone is ever held responsible for making a dangerous, life destroying drug. On top of that, people are convicted and sent to prison EVERY SINGLE DAY for harmless marijuana?
In this time of mourning, I am asking more than ever, when the hell are we going to wake up?

The Case for Treason: Has our Government grown Despotic?
(originally posted in July)
We are living in dangerous, uncertain times. The economic collapse deepens each day, wars are raging all around us, terrorism is now a household word in America, flu pandemics are being declared, and under the influence of all of these concerns, government is tightening the bands around our civil liberties in a most permanent way. The question is, "how much is too much?"
This is somewhat of a complex problem. It is my greatest hopes that many of you will read this entire article, and take the time to digest what I put forth here. I believe that it was inevitable that our government become tyrannical. The permission we have given to our politicians has created a class of citizens above ourselves. This has happened quite contrary to the idea that these very citizens now placed above us, who run our country on their own whims and in secrecy from us, were intended to be our servants.
The one protection put into the Constitution to prevent this from fully happening was the Bill of Rights. It is IMPERITIVE that we understand that those first ten amendments were the result of the bickering and outright opposition raised by the anti-federalists during the Constitutional debates in 1788. The anti-federalists argued that there were no provisions that would effectively secure the individual rights of Americans in the original Constitution. The resultant ten amendments outline our precious individual rights, and only in conjunction with each other do those rights prevent government from growing fully despotic. That is why there is major cause for alarm today as we see these civil rights being legislated away in Congress and abused on the streets.
During those debates surrounding the ratification of the Constitution in 1788, many voices were heard in favor of, and opposing this radical new government that would govern the United States. One of the loudest voices of opposition was Patrick Henry. It is not that he was not loyal to America, no, not in the least. In fact, his opposition was based upon his very dedication to liberty and freedom. It was in the designs of our then forming government that Henry seen the makings of despotism. If we take a close look at a few points made by Henry, and compare them to our modern dilemma, we can see not only how correct his concerns were, but how factually prophetic they have become.
Most telling of these speeches was the one made by Patrick Henry on June 5, 1788. He objected to the overreaching authority of the proposed federal government specifically because he feared the abuse of power by our Representatives.
"But we are told that we need not fear, because those in power being our Representatives, will not abuse the powers we put in their hands: I am not well versed in history, but I will submit to your recollection, whether liberty has been destroyed most often by the licentiousness of the people, or by the tyranny of rulers? I imagine, Sir, you will find the balance on the side of tyranny."
Henry could envision the flaws in a Representative democracy based upon the inevitability of men to become corrupt. Do we not see this today? Yes, we certainly do. Our Representatives, many of whom have been in Washington for three or four decades, repeatedly deny our voices any merit. They pass massive bills without even reading them. They alter bills at the last minute before votes. They attach amendments to bills that are completely unrelated, (such as the current unConstitutional Hate Crimes bill being attached to the "must pass" Defense Fund bill for 2010.) They propose, and often pass, bills that fly in complete defiance to the Constitution and Bill of Rights (Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, John Werner Act, and proposed H.R. 45, H.R. 2159, H.R. 2647, Cap and Trade, etc.) The nation's people screamed in opposition to the "bail outs", yet they overwhelmingly passed it, only to benefit certain banks while leaving the rest of us to continue to suffer in worsening conditions.
How does this happen? How can the Bill of Rights guarantee a right to privacy, yet the Patriot Act says you don't have it? How can it guarantee a right to due process, yet the Patriot Act says you don't have that either? How are our rights to privacy, private property, due process, keep and bear arms, free speech, and other rights protected by the Constitution continually under assault by these Representatives?
Patrick Henry was keen to point this problem out over 200 years ago, "However uncharitable it may appear, yet I must tell my opinion, that the most unworthy characters may get into power and prevent the introduction of amendments: Let us suppose (for the case is supposeable, possible, and probable) that you happen to deal these powers to unworthy hands; will they relinquish powers already in their possession, or agree to amendments? Two-thirds of the Congress, or of the State Legislatures, are necessary even to propose amendments: If one-third of these be unworthy men, they may prevent the application for amendments; but what is destructive and mischievous is, that three-fourths of the State Legislature, or of State Conventions, must concur in the amendments when proposed: In such numerous bodies, the must necessarily be some designing bad men: To suppose that so large a number as three-fourths of the States will concur, is to suppose they will possess genius, intelligence, and integrity, approaching to miraculous...It is, Sir, a most fearful situation, when the most contemptible minority can prevent the alteration of the most oppressive Government."
Although today's situation involves the passing of bills, as our government simply does not see the need to amend the Constitution in order to change or override it, Henry's words still ring true. A small contemptible minority are in control, and they do not hear our voices. Even our president now tells us that he will not obey our laws. Obama's signing statement given while signing the recent war funding bill strictly pertained to his ignoring of restrictions put on the executive branch within the bill. He signed the law, as he was telling us he himself would not follow it. Amazing.
When government ceases to listen to us; ceases to give us redress to our grievances, what can we do? The federal government has grown beyond belief. We actually do not even know how big it is! So much of it is now kept secret from the American People, and new bureaucracies are created all the time, expanding the federal while indebting us in taxes to pay for it all.
As Henry put it, "My great objection to this Government is, that it does not leave us the means of defending our rights; or, of waging war against tyrants: It is urged by some Gentlemen, that this new plan will bring us an acquisition of strength, an army, and the militia of the States: This is an idea extremely ridiculous: Gentlemen cannot be in earnest. This acquisition will trample on your fallen liberty: Let my beloved Americans guard against that fatal lethargy that has pervaded the universe: Have we the means of resisting disciplined armies, when our only defence, the militia is put into the hands of Congress?"
As Henry clearly points out, without a Second Amendment, there is no security for liberty.
Today, many Americans fear the government. They are continually trying to disarm us, and in many ways have succeeded incrementally. Now, especially under the Obama administration, they are criminalizing dissent. The MIAC report of Homeland Security, H.R. 2159, H.R. 2647, and on and on. Anyone who speaks out against government is basically considered a terrorist, including gun owners, tax protesters, Constitutionalists, etc. (I have posted the links to these government documents so many times, if you have any doubts as to the truth to what I am saying, read previous blogs and check the links for yourself.) These fears are well grounded, for many of us know that tyranny is upon us once again in this great nation.
The most chilling of Henry's statements concerning this matter was driven by his sharp understanding of the history of liberty and tyranny,
"The Honorable Gentleman who presides, told us, that to prevent abuses in our Government, we will assemble in Convention, recall our delegated powers, and punish our servants for abusing the trust reposed in them. Oh, Sir, we should have fine times indeed, if to punish tyrants, it were only sufficient to assemble the people. Your arms wherewith you could defend yourselves, are gone; and have no longer a aristocratical; no longer democratical spirit. Did you ever read of any revolution in any nation, brought about by the punishment of those in power, inflicted by those who had no power at all? You read of a riot act in a country which is called on of the freest in the world, where a few neighbours cannot assemble with the risk of being shot by a hired soldiery, the engines of despotism. We may see such an act in America. A standing army we shall have also, to execute the execrable commands of tyranny: And how are you to punish them? Will you order them to be punished? Who shall obey these orders? Will your Mace-bearer be a match for a disciplined regiment? In what situation are we to be?
The clause before you gives a power of direct taxation, unbounded and unlimited: Exclusive power of Legislation in all cases whatsoever, to ten miles square; and over all places purchased for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dock-yards, etc. What resistance could be made? The attempt would be madness. You will find all the strength of this country in the hands of your enemies: Those garrisons will naturally be the strongest places in the country. Your militia is given up to Congress also in another part of this plan: They will therefore act as they think proper: All power will be in their own possession: You cannot force them to receive their punishment: Of what service would militia be to you, when most probably you will not have a single musket in the State; for as arms are to be provided by Congress, they may or may not furnish them.
Let me here call your attention to that part which gives the Congress power, "To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia, according to the discipline prescribed by Congress." By this, Sir, you see that their control over our last and best defence, is unlimited. If they neglect or refuse to discipline or arm our militia, they will be useless.[auth. note: today they have criminalized our militia]: The States can do neither, this power being exclusively given to Congress; The power of appointing officers over men not disciplined or armed, is ridiculous; So that this pretended little remains of power left to the States, may, at the pleasure of Congress, be rendered nugatory.
Our situation will be deplorable indeed: Nor can we ever expect to get this government amended, since I have already shewn, that a very small minority may prevent it; and that small minority interested in the continuance of the oppression: Will the oppressor let go of the oppressed? Was there ever an instance? Can the annals of mankind exhibit one single example, where rulers overcharged with power, willingly let go the oppressed, though solicited and requested most earnestly?"
Now is the time for each one of us to sit down, and quietly ask ourselves, what is really happening here? With this new administration building upon the Patriot Act type of legislation set before it, we are in big trouble. We now have a "no-fly" list with over a million names on it of Americans who are not allowed to move about freely, though they have not been charged with a crime and given due process of law. We have a president talking about "preventative detention", which is indefinite imprisonment without any due process or representation. We have a chief of staff, Emanuel, talking about a mandatory, forced civilian service for all Americans beginning in middle school, and who is also pushing for those million plus Americans stripped of their mobility to be stripped of their Second Amendment rights without due process as well.
Right now, this month, we have foreign troops in the U.S. participating in FEMA's martial law exercise NLE 09 (don't believe it? google it: NLE 09). That means, under martial law, you could have foreign troops in your living room barking orders at your family in broken English.
It is actually dangerous to be outspoken about tyranny now. Dissent is criminalized. Militia activity is demonized and criminalized. Is Patrick Henry's vision of an America where neighbors could not assemble without risk of being shot by hired soldiery becoming a reality?
If we do not heed these warnings, the very arguments that gave birth to our Bill of Rights, we shall surely perish as subjects, not a free people. These rights have been infringed, and are under continuous assault RIGHT NOW!
STAND UP AND SHOUT "NO, WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR CIVIL RIGHTS TO BE TAKEN AWAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!"
Its time to Fire Washington, and put some people on that hill that know what being American is all about.

The Anti-Federalist Papers, Ralph Ketcham ed.

It isn't about Obama, it's about America
Obama is not that Important
I would like to say that any time I am attacking Obama's moves, I am NOT attacking Obama, per se. In fact, I only mention his name to help bring people to the realization that he is not what he is branded to be. In the scope of things, our problems in America are much larger than Obama could ever be.
The problem is that the partisan myth is so strong that a majority always assume any attack on Obama is a partisan Republican assault. Likewise, any criticisms of Bush or Limbaugh are seen as liberal left-wing propaganda. To make matters worse, most of the time this is true. Take Rush Limbaugh for example. What is most important to Rush: true individual liberty and the Constitution, or; the defeat of the Democratic Party? In his own words, "the defeat of Obama and the Democratic Party." Rush doesn't speak to me, and he sure as hell doesn't speak for me. The same holds true for the left-wing media talking heads as well. They truly do not represent any of us.
We are lead to overlook the big picture. We are fed this idea of defeating a party opponent while simultaneously believing that our own party has our best interests in focus. Yet time and time again the party leadership on both sides votes against the people and enslaves us in debt. If we look at the voting records of McCain, Kerry, Graham, Pelosi, etc. we will see that they do not even represent the mythical principles they claim to. The principles all of you support them for. Obama stacked his cabinet full of strong pro-Iraq war supporters and ex-Wall Street guys. Didn't he run his campaign on anti-war, anti-lobbyist and pro-fiscal change? Bush ran on a non-interventionist platform in 2000, and no one even remembers that now. Bush is the great "conservative" that actually told us we had to break the rules of the free market system to save the free market system, and gave us the first TARP.
Why have we not stormed the gates yet?
The Real Us-versus-Them
They do not work for us. If we set down that partisan paradigm we have been conditioned to see the world through, we could begin to analyze the moves of our leaders from one solid foundation. We could judge all actions against the standards of individual liberty, equal civil rights, and economic common sense. No one you show loyalties to has any loyalties to you. They are not loyal to the principles you believe in. You support these people, and they support the elite bankers and corporations who pay for their million dollar campaigns.
The media is owned by 5 or 6 major corporate conglomerates. Not only are they owned by corporations, but the main source of revenue is the advertising dollars from other corporations. That is where the media's loyalty is: the corporations. Our politicians are elected due to campaign money given by the corporations and their lobbyists. Again, the bankers and corporations own the media and pay for our politicians. They are in control.
Our politicians do not vote for us. They vote for the corporations and for themselves. They do not respect our Constitution, and they have destroyed individual liberty--the ultimate freedom for everyone. The issue of individual liberty is one we all should be concerned about Democrats, Republicans, white, black...everyone. Our rights as individuals should not be any different because we belong to a particular group. Our rights are ours because we are individuals. To quote Ron Paul,
"The only us-versus-them thinking in which we might indulge is the people--all the people--versus the government, which loots and lies to us all, threatens our liberties, and shreds our Constitution. That is not a black-white issue. [It is not a right-left issue.] That is an American issue."
